En connaissance de cause et à mes risques, je m’inscris à l'événement Le Défi des Escaliers. Par la présente, je dégage les organisateurs, les bénévoles et les partenaires de cet événement de toute responsabilité à mon égard. Je déclare avoir les capacités physiques pour accomplir cet exploit. J’autorise tout personnel médical à intervenir selon ses compétences, si nécessaire. Je reconnais que les frais d’inscription ne sont pas remboursables ni transférables Aussi, en cas de situation dite de “cas de force majeur”, tel que, mais sans s’y limiter, mauvaise température, menace terroriste, grève ou guerre, les organisateurs de l'événement Le Défi des Escaliers, de concert avec les autorités municipales et la sécurité civile ont l’autorité d’annuler l’une ou plusieurs des épreuves et activités de l’événement. Dans un tel cas, les frais d’inscriptions demeurent non remboursables et non transférables.

I have full knowledge of and assume all risks of my registration in Le Défi des Escaliers. I hereby release the organizers, volunteers and sponsors of this event from all responsibility for my participation in it. I declare that I am physically fit to complete this event. I authorize any medical personnel to intervene on my behalf according to their qualifications if deemed necessary. I am aware that entry fees are neither refundable nor transferable. Also, in a situation that could be characterized as a "case of absolute necessity", such as, but without limiting itself to it, bad temperature, terrorist threat, strike or war, the organizers of Le Défi des Escaliers, in cooperation with the municipal authorities and the civil security, have the authority to cancel one or more of the races and activities of the event. In such case, the registration fees would still be not refundable and not transferable.
