The Forzani Foundation was created in 2000 as a Charitable Foundation.
The Foundation provides financial support to other registered charities, 
Canadian amateur athletic associations and other qualified donees whose activities 
involve the promotion of physical fitness, health and wellness, the prevention 
and relief of sickness and disability, or the participation and education in sports across Canada.

The 2012 Sport Chek Mother's Day Run & Walk will once again be supporting the following:

Calgary Health Trust (Neonatal Intensive Care Units at the Foothills,
Rockyview & Peter Lougheed Hospitals)
Equipment: 5 SiPAP Units, Neonatal Ventilator, 8 Joey Beds, Bili Bassinet.

Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation
Equipment: iE33 Echocardiography System
