To enter the Knee Knackering North Shore Trail Run using
EVENTSONLINE.CA please follow these steps:
  1. Type your name and other information into the web form page below.
  2. Click the submit button.
  3. MasterCard and Visa and Amex are accepted. Your online Credit Card Transaction will be processed Securely in Canadian dollars. If you are from the USA click here to check the US currency exchange rate.
  4. Confirmation of entry via this online form will be provided by email and on the confirmation page after your payment has been processed.

Entry Details:

  • All entrants will receive a commemorative high-quality garment.
  • Entry fee is $120 Canadian. This includes a $10 non-refundable administration fee.
  • Entries are not transferable.
  • Field is limited to 200 runners, and will be chosen by lottery in early March, 2012 (exact date TBA).
  • Entry is guaranteed to the following if applications are postmarked by February 29, 2012:
    • top finisher (1 only) in each age/sex category in 2011 race.
    • top overall male and female in all previous KKNSTRs (1989-2010).
  • Race Management reserves the right to admit additional runners who may enhance the competitive aspect of the race, or have contributed significantly to the organization of the race or the sport.

*** Important Service Requirement ***

To be eligible to compete in this event, in addition to being selected in the lottery, you must complete four (4) hours of service. This may be in the form of volunteer trail maintenance or volunteer work at an organized trail or road running race. The period to meet this requirement for 2012 is from July 1, 2011, to June 30, 2012. This is a mandatory requirement of all applicants accepted in the lottery.

An online form is available at www.kneeknacker.com that you can fill in with details of the work you performed to meet this requirement, including date of service, event/race, and what was performed. Alternatively, you may email/fax/mail details, as per instructions on the Web site. In all cases the Knee Knacker Race Committee must receive all necessary information by June 30, 2012 (10 days prior to race day), or you will not be allowed to participate in the Run.

Refund Policy:

    Refunds are only available if you withdraw by March 1, 2012, or if name is not drawn in lottery. In either case, the refund amount is $110 (Canadian). The remaining $10 is a non-refundable administration fee.

    Absolutely NO refunds are available this year if your name is drawn in the lottery, and you are subsequently unable to participate.

WAIVER, RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION

As a participant in the Knee Knackering North Shore Trail Run on July 14th, 2012, I agree to all rules and will comply with them. I am aware that this type of ultra-endurance trail run may be extremely difficult and hazardous even for well-conditioned athletes under the most favourable conditions. I understand that I should not compete in this run unless I am in excellent physical condition, have trained adequately and have no medical condition that might be worsened by physical activity. Knowing these facts and in consideration of the acceptance of my application to participate in the Knee Knackering North Shore Trail Run, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators waive, release and discharge Kelsy Trigg, Enzo Federico, officials, volunteers and all persons connected with this event from claims of liability, for any injuries to me (including but not limited to death). This release extends to all claims unforeseen, known or unknown. Further, I grant irrevocable permission to the Knee Knackering North Shore Trail Run, and any media covering this year's race, and the authorized agents, contractors, and representatives of each, to use my name and likeness in any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or any other records of my participation in this event for any purpose.
