Notice for all Rubble Creek Classic Participants

We need to follow B.C. Parks directions to ensure we can continue this race Please familiarize yourself with the items below and have a great race. The notes below are directly from B.C. Parks.

·       Domestic animals (dogs) are prohibited in Garibaldi Park (this includes parking areas),

·       All event organizers, spectators, race supporters and participants parking vehicles in the park must pay the parking fees at the finish  at Rubble Creek Parking area.   Payment is $3.00 /vehicle /per day, paid using either cash or credit card.

·       Mountain bikes are prohibited on the event trail (Helm, or Garibaldi Lake trails)

·       All motorized vehicles are prohibited in the park, including motorcycles, ATVs, trail bikes

·       Harvesting of natural resources is prohibited.

Participants should ensure they follow the park regulations and also

·       Stay on the trail – no cutting of switch backs.   Alpine vegetation is especially fragile; shortcutting destroys plant life and soil structure and causes erosion. Damaged areas are being repaired, and your cooperation is needed.

·       Do not litter. Pack out what you pack in.
