To enter the Subaru Shawnigan Lake Triathlon using EventsOnline.ca please follow these steps:


  1. Type your name and other information into the form below and click on the submit button.
  2. Use your Visa, Mastercard or AMEX credit card to pay for your entry. The transaction will be processed securely in Canadian dollars.
  3. Once you have successfully paid for your entry your information will automatically be added to the event database and a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you have submitted on this form.   • After January 31st, 2012 all entries are non-transferable (from you to another person), non-refundable, and non-deferrable (from this race to another race in the Series or from 2012 to 2013). Withdraws, transfers, and deferrals before January 31st, 2012 will be subject to a $60 fee. No refunds, transfers, or deferrals will be issued or considered under any circumstance after January 31st, 2012.
  • An additional $15 for each participant ($20 in Alberta), or $6 ($10 in Alberta) for each member of a relay team, will be charged on your entry form if no VALID TriBC# or ATA# is provided.
  • Please be aware that due to insurance regulations you must show your current TriBC or ATA ID card, picture ID and sign a waiver before picking up your race packet or you will be responsible for paying the race day insurance fee.
  • Prices do not include 12% HST (or 5% GST in Alberta) and the online processing fee.
  • You must participate in the event to receive the commemorative garment or other race benefits.

RELEASE WAIVER AND INDEMNITY

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
I, the applicant, on behalf of myself, members of my family, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, hereby forever release, discharge and hold harmless LifeSport Holdings Inc., LifeSport Properties Inc., Triathlon British Columbia, and Alberta Triathlon Association representatives and agents including without limitation, event sponsors, event directors, event contractors, event producers, municipal, provincial, federal governing agencies, park governing agencies, and all other entities associated or involved in the organization or staging of the event, volunteers, all venues in which events or segments of events are held, and the officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents of any of the above; all claims or liabilities for death, personal injury, property damage, theft or damages of any kind, which arise out of or relate to my participation in, or my traveling to and from the event, arising out of or in connection with my taking part in LifeSport Holdings Inc., LifeSport Properties Inc., Triathlon British Columbia, and Alberta Triathlon Association organized events and activities and notwithstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of LifeSport Holdings Inc., LifeSport Properties Inc., Triathlon British Columbia, Alberta Triathlon Association, or any of their respective representatives or agents.

I agree not to sue any of the persons or entities mentioned above for any of the claims or liabilities that I have waived, released or discharged herein; and I indemnify and hold harmless the persons or entities mentioned above from any claims made or liabilities assessed against them as a result of my actions during this event.

I hereby agree that in the event of the event cancellation due to a storm, rain, winds, inclement weather, or other "Acts of God" conditions, my registration fee shall not be refunded. I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, videotapes, recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose including commercial use. I understand that my email address and contact information will be shared with the Official Event Photographer.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for the roadworthiness and correct operation of my bicycle. I realize that I may be subject to unannounced drug testing as provided for by Triathlon Canada's agreement with the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport.

I acknowledge that a triathlon event is an extreme test of a person's physical and mental limits and carries with it the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. I herby assume those risks. I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in this event, and have not been advised against participation by a qualified health professional. I acknowledge that the various race sponsors, organizers and administrators, permitting me to participate in this event, accept my statements on this release waiver.

I hereby affirm that I am nineteen (19) years of age or older. If I am younger than nineteen (19) years of age, a parent or guardian must enter their name in the box below signifying their permission for me to enter this event. I have read this document and I understand its contents. I am aware of the refund policy and request deadlines as stated on the race website.
